Bio
Kyle A. Burgason earned his Ph.D. in Criminal Justice in 2014 from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. His research and teaching interests include: policing, race and crime, ethics in criminal justice, criminological theory, structural and cultural context of violent crime and victimization, capital punishment, and optimal foraging theory’s applications to crime. His recent work appears in Deviant Behavior, Journal of Interpersonal Violence, the American Journal of Criminal Justice, Homicide Studies, Western Criminology Review, and Journal of Forensic Investigation.
